I highlight the struggle of urban dwellers torn between progress and tradition, as depicted in "Jab Shehnai Baji Phir Gaon Mein." Through tales like "Rooh ki Talaash" and "Wa Kalam Khaas," I delve into the erosion of moral compasses and the complexities of human relationships. "Chamki ki Barkhastagi" and "Leather ki Jacket" subtly unveil the human condition, while "Debubai ki Kamardhani" and "Raghuvar Babu ki Bitiya" provoke introspection on societal values.

저자 정보

Anil Kumar is a retired banker and a full-time grandfather with a dream of becoming an acclaimed author. He was born and brought up in Neema, a village 20 km from Patna, Bihar. After obtaining a master's degree in Economics, he started working in a financial institution but literature was his first love. Fueled by a lifelong love for storytelling, he started writing short stories after his retirement. His debut novel "Gaon Jaati Pagdandi" is a collection of twenty-five short stories inspired by the daily lives of people in rural India.
