Acerca de este libro electrónico

Lucia, who is eight years old and lives in Geneva, Switzerland, is chosen to enter a poetry competition with four classmates in Lausanne. They have written poems about the weather, and all, bar one, are sceptical about climate change.

Whilst travelling to the competition, accompanied by two of their teachers, they encounter a woman with extraordinary magical powers. She uses her power to take them to Iceland and introduce them to five Icelandic residents, an arctic fox, a puffin, a salmon, a blue whale and a harbour seal, who inform and educate them about what is happening to the Earth worldwide.

After their extraordinary adventure, their views change, and they regroup to work through practical things they can do to help the Earth. This magical story confronts the serious issues facing the Earth head-on and provides a way forward that everyone, adults and children, can adopt.
