I like the Authors other books but this one was a real slog to get through. I was bored almost senseless by this book, which seemed to be set mainly in conference rooms, forums and meetings. Never ending tedious dialog. A massive yawn. The Guardian found it fiercely intelligent which makes me wonder if they actually read it.

Ughh, character set up still going on at the end of the sample, predicated on magic and just difficult to suspend disbelief long enough to get into.

Interesting premise, disappointing execution. Thought I would force my way through it, but only got halfway before giving up.
