About this eBook

If you die in the game. You die for real.

Sebastian Winter doesn't play games. He doesn't even know what RPG stands for.

Players are dying in their VR headsets. The attacks eerily similar to how their avatars died in the game.

The killer isn't some gamer with a real-world vendetta. It's happening all over the world.

Who unleashed a demon in virtual reality?

If the demon kills your avatar, and you die for real... what happens if the demon learns how to possess people in the game?

If Sebastian is going to stop the demon, he has the play the game.

It's an open-world digital universe. The demon could be anywhere. How will Sebastian track it down?

In this game... there are no respawns.

This time, game over means game over for good.

Game Over is the third book in the Sebastian Winter series. He's not your run-of-the-mill hunter or slayer. He doesn't hunt down monsters because of what they are. He only takes out the guilty. But not all hunters see things the same way...

A decade ago, a monster abducted Sebastian's wife on their honeymoon. He's been hunting monsters ever since, looking for answers, hoping to find her. But nothing he's killed, yet, looks like the beast he faced that night.

Not every monster he hunts down has information, but if he can save a life, spare one person from the pain he's endured over the last ten years, it's worth it. And he won't stop until he has answers. Until Angie is back in his arms...

I liked Theophilus aproach to this idea, it felt easier to do the suspension of disbelief. i found myself enjoying the character mix of casual player and intense gamer

Talk about gaming having real life effects. A whole ‘Player One’ feel. I like the innovative way this was written and of course comedy and the banter. Love that they did a crossover or merge of the other two series: Vampire Witch Mercy Brown and DDA Elijah Wadsworth crew. Having just finished Wild Hunt I am still on that book high. Love reading these stories. Current events yet fiction. Definitely recommend reading. This is the third book so you have two prior to get caught up! Happy reading!.

By far and away, the best Sebastian Winters book yet!! It is War Games (the movie, not an actual war) of the supernatural variety. It has Theophilus Monroe's humor and snark we've loved since the 1st book of his we've read. If this is your 1st go with a Theophilus book, you'll chuckle at least. It also has his fantastic flare for drama. We also get two nice surprises. Mercy, Elijah and their crews cross over into Sebastian's world. Adding more snark, humor and drama. Game Over is an entertaining, enjoyable book that I couldn't put down. I also can't say enough good things about it.
