This book is a great addition to the League of Legends lore simply because of the graphic and brutal "realism" it captures. It reminded me of how Saving Private Ryan was told. Solemn and grim with poetic undertones. The narrative flows, and it isn't force either. I love how the writing effectively details the environment, atmosphere, and emotions in both first and third person in a way where you're able to take it in graphically and immersively.

After reading the lux comic a week ago i wanted to know what happened next luckily this came out and this book is definitely a great read, this is coming from someone who hates reading and has only finished 2 books. You dont need to know a slight bit of League of Legends lore to understand what is happening, but there is some parts where i had to reread because i didnt understand but overall this is definitely worth it.

I hope that Riot has the opportunity to publish many more books. This book, among many things, emphasizes many dimensions of League characters that haven't been fully explored before. I'm a huge fan of League's lore and Anthony's previous works, and this is another winner.
