I am an avid rock-hound. I have traveled extensively in the US and have collected specimens wherever I go. I recently returned to Idaho to live and began my prospecting again and found this book. It is an absolute delight! I have purchased the book and would highly recommend that all of you that want to explore Idaho and see the wonders of geology to do the same. The author is very thorough and yet very easy to follow both the directions and the geological information of the rocks in the field. Happy hunting.
