G.N. Mishra, Head of the Sociology Department, has been working at B.S.S. Mahila College, Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University Dhanbad since 1988. Additionally, he has worked as an advocate in Patna High Court and later joined the Dhanbad Bar Association. His Sociological background is a commitment to education beyond the classroom. He has been honored with the 'Vidyasagar Samman' by V.H. Vidyapith for his writing against social evils. He was also associated with the Indian Nation and Aryabart, the prominent newspaper of Bihar. He worked as an editor in several weekly and fortnightly magazines. He has always had his voice against casteism, religious bigotry, and various social evils. He also started to publish a fortnightly newspaper, Kadvi Baat, to make reach of his voice far and wide. He has always been in favor of equality and harmony. He contributes to the Welfare of humankind as a social worker. He has actively collaborated with various non-profit organizations to address Social justice and inequality issues. Gandhi's truthfulness, Nehru's vision, and Patel's firmness greatly influenced him.

Aditya Kumar Thakur is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the Civil engineering department. His research area is related to Civil and Mining engineering. He has also been awarded the GUJCOST special recognition award, the IRIS silver medal for research work in mathematics, and the S.I.H. grand award for inventing a new type of water meter. With his strong academic background of B.Tech from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology Muzaffarpur and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, he is keenly interested in Hindi literature and other social science disciplines. He has written his first book, 'ASMITA,' which is a compilation of his poetry. He has recited his poetry in many renowned institutions and Kavi Sammelan. His writing often delves into the intricacies of human behavior, emotions, and the connection of individuals with nature.
