4.5/5* After having read Heartless, the first book in the Immortal Enemies series, I was so excited to start Viori’s story. And what a story it was! Ruthless was such a good Fantasy Romance. This book was crazy, action-packed, a bit emotional and spicy, everything you want in a Fantasy Romance! Gena Showalter did such a good job with this book, and I enjoyed getting to know Viori and Micah. I highly recommend the Immortal Enemies series if you’re looking for fantasy, romance and crazy characters

This is book two of the series and it is packed with all kinds of edge-of-your-seat suspense, backstabbing (and some front stabbing), snarky parleys, betrayals, lots of action, all kinds of oopsies, and some serious f u b a r events - All rounded out with some seriously sweet smexy moments

This sharp-edged and intoxicating read sucked me right in, stole my breath, stretched my nerves to their breaking point and pummeled my heart until I didn't think it could take anymore! One thing is for sure, Micah and Viori's story isn't for the faint of heart because the angst is rich, the tension taut, the intensity thick and the burn slow. This is my freely posted frank review.
