This game is fun and addicting at first. However it grows into a very boring game with updates coming slower than your grandma can find her way to messaging her friend on facebook. To top it off, the company is a greedy pig, does not care about the playerbase and their feedback on fixing in-game characters. Overall, if you're thinking of giving this game a try, just go play breath of the wild, its better in every way. If you do not have money for BOTW and wanna play this "free" game, do beware of the microtransactions, and NEVER SPEND MONEY ON GENSHIN. ITS NEVER WORTH IT, GOES TO THIS DOG COMPANY THAT DOESNT DESERVE IT

hi <3 , i'm just here to apologize about the Genshin community. i don't even think this might even be read at all, but i really love this game. it's amazing, the developers, the voice actors, all of you do great work so i'm just really sorry about how horrible this fandom is. voice actors get harassed, get sent death threats, belittled of their feelings since people just cant remember how they're human too, etc. i love this game, so it really makes me mad how ignorant this fandom is. The anniversary rewards aren't even bad so the review bombing has no point in even happening. the people are so toxic, its hard finding good people in this community, etc. It makes me sick how bad this fandom turned out and how every time they find just something to get mad over, they all band together and just attack the game as a whole. i'm sorry, im so, so sorry about all of this even if i'm just one person saying this to all of the people who work here. you ALL deserve so much better. I'm sorry, on behalf the non-problematic part of the fandom. you put so much effort, thought, hard work, and love into this game, and this is how the fandom repays you. If anything, i really hope how this shows my appreciation for this game. Genshin, to me, is an escape from reality. it helps me cope, its a comfort game, feeds my horrible gambling addiction even though i'm only just a little fish no whale, helps me forget what burdens i have on my shoulders, and just, everything. i love the lore, i love exploring, i love the story lines, i love the game in general. To see it loose what little reputation it had because of this fandom makes me want to just sit down and cry. Literally. I'm sorry Mihoyo, just know that some of us really, really appreciate you. Every single one of you. We're always going to be rooting for you. Keep doing your best, I believe in all of you, and thank you for taking the time to read this if you do. The disrespect and tone deaf actions displayed by the developer Mihoyo have ruined the game for me. The fact that the company is going out of their way to censor complaints across many forums including reddit, their discord, their personal social platform "hoyolab", and others further proves that they don't respect their playerbase.
