About the author
Georg Heym kam 1887 als Sohn des Staats- und späteren Reichsmilitärstaatsanwalts, Hermann Heym und dessen Frau Jenny geboren Taistrzik zur Welt. Er hatte eine Schwester, Gertrud. Heym war Lyriker und Schriftsteller. Am 16. Januar 1912 verunglückte er beim Schlittschuhlaufen tödlich, als er seinen eingebrochenen Freund Ernst Balcke retten wollte. Bei dotbooks erschien Georg Heyms Kurzgeschichte „Die Sektion“.
