But the more time she spends with Freddy, the more Kitty wonders whether Jack is the right choice after all...

I love Heyers writing, but I found this book very challenging. The first chapters are increbibly boring and tedious, I almost gave up. I'd recomend skiming the first few chapters before reading the book in earnest. It really is an interesting and lively story after that.

At first, I regretted purchasing this book but luckily I read on. Although predictable, it was delightful , amusing and thoroughly enjoyable. Can't wait to read another Heyer book!
