A little slow to start, but charming, none-the-less, with twists and turns and the usual glorious use of language. Every time I finish a Georgette Heyer novel I'm a little sadder as I have one less left to enjoy....

Always a tremendous writer. I'm never let down by mistakes or by an uninteresting story. I've read nearly all her books, and this is my second reading of this book. I might go back and read all the rest again.
