I started to read a few of the comics and the 2 seasons of the show. Both are wonderful. Comics are more bizarre than tv series. Dark horse does a great job and so does UA.

I would have to say if you don't know about the umbrella academy you wouldn't really know what's going on in this comic. The drawing is phenomenal the writing is amazing but starting kind of Midway not really knowing what anything is someone might get confused.
