I have some experience in programming Arduino's but ARM based development boards are a whole new level. Researching into what compiler to use and how to install/setup properly is really daunting when comes to ARM based solutions. This short guide is good for beginners who need an example/instructions on how to install and setup a good compiler. Instructions on how to upload code onto your development board is also included in this guide. This book would have been even better if it included more examples and projects. I would gladly pay more money. I look forward to seeing the Author create a more in depth book for STM32 development boards.

Book says what to do but doesn't explain why. Should be a good start for newbies, thought all the hints one can find on the internet.

Don't bother. I was expecting to see some new tricks & tips but it's just the same basic. At least bother to comment your whole code if you re going to publish an ebook.
