À propos de cet e-book

The train journey is imprinted indelibly on Megan's brain, memories play havoc with logical thinking if you do not recognise them! She expects this new beginning to be an adventure but then a 30 year old mystery slides her into darkness.

Around Megan some of the townspeople behave in a disturbing manner, threats gather, a false trail from an innocuous note, some unexplained accidents, sabotage? Things go critical, Megan's abducted. A  team of private detectives realise the truth! The fuse is burning!

The train is moving as Megan sits down, breathing calmly and satisfied with her decisions she watches the passing scenery "things will get better".

Whilst engaged in friendly conversation with a fellow passenger, Megan has a daymare. She ignores the violent images believing they are induced by the stress of the past months.

Her priority is to get settled in her new home, to reinforce her independence. Despite being upbeat, there's an air of menace, circumstances have borne an enemy, who's intent on destroying her. Megan craves a to be the master of her own destiny, not to be the victim of a vile stalker. Could things that simple or has she opened old wounds?

A classic British mystery suspense influenced by the 20th century film director Alfred Hitchcock.

The story is exciting, suspenseful, unsettling and will cause some trepidation!

If you read material from Dean Koontz, Rachel Abbott, Angela Marsons, Linwood Barclay, Mark Edwards, Robert Galbraith, Jojo Moyes, A J Waines then you will enjoy my books.

À propos de l'auteur

H A Dawson is a former software developer who turned to adrenalin pumping adventure activities including windsurfing, paragliding, white-water rafting, land yachting and scuba diving. She now lives with a crazy bunch of animals on a small-holding enjoying fresh veggies, fruit and eggs with some regular exercise including tennis and swimming.

In working mode this author becomes immersed in the 'physically undemanding task of writing mystery-suspense-thrillers.

The psychological perspectives make for intriguing situations emphasising how we never see ourselves as others do. The books will excite, puzzle and entice readers to ask intriguing questions.

Women are prominent characters in H A Dawson's stories, depicting how emotions can be used in a positive way to counteract the wicked and often distasteful facets of modern society.

The men have to be equally resilient which leads to interesting confrontations not excluding differences of opinion. The mystery suspense is encapsulated in realistic and plausible story lines.
