Although its obvious in these times why the self-help to success angle was taken using autobiographical anecdotes instead. Im married to someone who also has a large vintage clothing corporation initially built on ebay and a lot of this resonates against his story. Ten years ago it was feasible to find thrift bargains to launch a store with. To store owners this is an interesting read but in no way a realistic blueprint for starting your own similar business. But the key elements to success are prominent.

Not as insightful as I'd hoped. This book has been raved and hyped about, but it's incredibly basic as a self-help or business book. Would've been more interesting as an autobiography I'd suppose, as it focuses on a business rocketing to huge successes at a time when thrift stores could turn a huge profit on eBay.

This was not the kind of book I expected unfortunately. I did not find it inspiring as many others did. The writing and structure were a hit messy to my opinion. However there were investing bits.
