Lynn Plourde is the author of forty children’s books, including Wild Child; Wake Up, Baby Bear!; and Maxi’s Secrets. She often makes author visits to schools, teaching students how to write their own stories. Lynn lives in Maine where she adores being an on-the-go grandma to her grandson. Sophie Beer is an award-winning illustrator who lives in Brisbane, Australia. She completed a dual degree with distinction in law and creative industries at Queensland University of Technology, but found her true calling in children’s and editorial illustration after winning the 2016 SCBWI Penguin Random House Portfolio Award. Reveling in color, shape, and texture, she lives by one simple rule: art should never be boring.
