The good part is that most of the book consists of clear and concise code that is easy to read. The bad part is that the code comes from basic (freely available) Go tutorials and by short, sparce, paradoxically full of errors writeups in between one realizes that the author has no idea of whats going on in the code. Its just "write this, run that". Very lazy!

Not a great resource. There are errors in the book (doesn't know what a closure actually is) and over all little more information than syntax examples (and even those are often grossly simplified, eg slices). Better off finding your information online.

There really is not much difference from this book and what you will find out online. The examples are extremely basic so do not expect to find anything advanced. It's a good book for people who know nothing of programming, but read with caution as it's not the best. There are also numerous typos throughout the book.
