Born in Missouri, raised in Southern California, Lynn's love for writing began with prompting from an eighth-grade English teacher. He majored in journalism in college, and is a proud veteran of the Vietnam War where he served with honor in the United States Navy. A father of three and grandfather of six, Lynn now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife, Susan.
