About this eBook

Holly Frank is in trouble. The deadly kind.

She and her sister must evade the authorities and the criminals who want them dead. Including Elijah North. The man who took her heart in Paris, her body in a prison cell, and her trust without remorse.

He's determined to keep her safe. Even if that means losing her forever.

Adam Bisset has his own dark agenda.

She’s caught between the two men, torn apart with every sensual push and pull. Each touch is a lie, each whispered tenderness a trap—but she can’t resist them.

Their lies are tearing her apart. Her enemies are catching up with her. And when she’s taken captive again, she finds out secrets to unravel it all.

Enchanted by this gold mine! 4 stars Wow, in an amazing way! Some 2nd books in a trilogy aren’t as exciting as the 1st or 3rd books, but this one was intense, shocking and had me riveted to the pages! Holly was so much stronger than she realizes and has an innate ability to take care of people, and I liked her so much! I am rooting for her to get her happily ever after, but can Elijah give it to her? She had a “hard time understanding her desires” regarding Elijah, and that was completely relatable. She has never been afraid of him and was enchanted by him, and I felt exactly the same way! Elijah was obsessed with Holly, but can he actually love her after everything he’s been through? Let’s just say that Elijah did some things that I did not agree with, but you will have to read find out! There was a twist that made me gasp then cry, then even more twists that shocked me! After those twists came a doozy of a cliffhanger that made me want the 3rd and final book right now! This book enchanted me with its intense twists and turns and intense love story that I couldn’t put down and highly recommend! I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.

This is the second book in this trilogy. You must read Diamond in the Rough first and prepare yourself for the excruciating cliffhanger and wait for book 3. Holly's story is really quite tense and suspenseful. There is more than enough twists, questions you want answers to, intensity, drama, tension, steam, danger and emotion to pull you in and have you turning pages past your bedtime. Both enjoyable and addicting, I can't wait to see how it all ends in book three! I am electing to post a objective review.

Wow, the story got more in-depth, both with suspense and with emotions. Holly and Elijah made some stark revelations in the year they have been apart, but they don’t realize the bulk of them until they are together again. The tie that they have to the other, they don’t fight it, but they ignore the root of it. By the time they realize the depth of their feelings, more has happened to tear them apart. But there is no apart for these two, and the perfection they achieve when they are together is mesmerizing to watch and see. Great cliffhanger, can’t wait to see how this conclusion will play out, and hopefully, we’ll get an Elijah/Hunter meeting out of it!
