De Daltons zijn onder de indruk, ontsnappen, en gaan naar het nu verlaten Fenton Town, dat ze omdopen in Dalton City. Lucky Luke gaat erachter aan, maar de Daltons verrassen hem als hij poolshoogte neemt.
