I didn't like this book from the very start. It's sickening. Females are only numbers, forced to do anything any male wants them to. There's parts where you can't tell if the main character is dreaming or the events are actually happening to her. The "story" also needs a real editor. Words are missing, as is punctuation at times. I couldn't finish the book. It was making me feel too ill. I'd avoid this "author".

This was a pretty good book. I was a little confused when the story flipped back and forth from one set of characters to the next. There were a few holes in the story where I wish things had been explained in further detail. The story felt a little Hunger Gamesesk which was good for me. There was a genuine, conflicted, but strong female lead. I thought the love interest light on depth. I wanted more to his story. The side story about a 10 and 7-year old running together and scaring off bears was totally unbelievable and that distracted from the story.
