I received a copy of this book courtesy of NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The description is accurate. Do not make any assumptions about this book. most likely your assumption is wrong. The author does an excellent job of tricking the reader. You will be tempted to turn back through the pages to determine what you missed. I enjoyed the authors writing style. All of the characters were well developed and believable. It was a creative story with lots of twists. Overall an enjoyable read. If you found this review helpful, please click below.

The Wife Between Us is an intense psychological thriller with many twists. Vanessa had just graduated from college when she met Richard; a man whom she thought was too good to be true. Richard was charismatic, handsome, and wealthy. He was also everything Vanessa thought she wanted in a man. So when Richard started to flirt with her, Vanessa quickly fell for his charms. What Vanessa didn’t know about Richard’s personality, though, was that he was also sneaky, manipulative, and controlling. Richard was sure that Vanessa, would make the perfect wife. She was fun, pretty and needed him. Their marriage and blissful life, however, would not last long. After a new lover entered Richard’s world, their shaky marriage became more than just troubled; it began to disintegrate. There is much more than just a simple love triangle going on in this novel. Richard and Vanessa are playing devious, cunning games with one another. Betrayal is something that’s never welcomed in a marriage, but then again, neither is violence. Deception and trickery are the main components in this story. The Wife Between Us is a compelling, brilliant read. Thank you, St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.
