Si el jugador se para a reflexionar y a valorar perderá cualquier tipo de ventaja que pueda tener ante una situación. Los entrenadores tenemos que darles herramientas para que su ejecución sea eficaz y para que el jugador sea eficiente. Digo eficaz, porque los goles valen de igual manera de tiro de muñeca que de tiro de impacto. Y tiene que ser eficaz técnicamente (buena ejecución) y eficiente tácticamente (conseguir el objetivo pretendido).
