These 27 short etudes were composed to provide music suitable for study or the concert stage. The etudes present a colorful palette of moods and musical textures and incorporate various picking techniques and lush harmonies. They are extremely useful in developing tone and a lyrical feeling to a guitarist’s style. These etudes will work well as concert preludes or encores or may be played in groups to create more extended performance repertoire. They are guitaristic and highlight the beauty of the plectrum/flatpick guitar style. The etudes are written in notation and tablature. Includes access to online audio.

Apie autorių

William Bay received his undergraduate degree in business at Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA at the University of Missouri. He played trumpet and guitar professionally for many years and has authored hundreds of books on music education and performance. As president of Mel Bay Publications he has produced thousands of books dealing with an eclectic array of musical styles, genres and instruments and performed on many audio and video recordings. He is an accomplished composer and arranger. His books have sold in the millions. He was recently inducted into the Missouri Music Hall of Fame.
