Gulliver is a surgeon sailing in the South Pacific. During the voyage, a shipwreck occurs and he is washed ashore, drifting to Lilliput. He is surprised to find the residents all less than 15cm tall. It takes great effort of Gulliver, a giant, to remain a harmonious relationship with them.. On his second adventure, he is left on Brobdingnag, a kingdom of giants. Because of his tiny size, Gulliver is treated as a precious treasure. Part three is a voyage to 5 islands, including Laputa, a flying island with a custom of throwing stones down at cities on the ground. The last part is a voyage meeting Houyhnhnms, a race of talking horses. They take control of the whole society, and other creatures resembling human beings are called Yahoos.
