Gerald Hausman, folklorist and author, has edited numerous anthologies including Tunkashila which The New York Times called âAn eloquent tribute to the first great storytellers of America.â Gerald's awards include those from the American Folklore Society, Childrenâs Protective Services, Bank Street College of Education, the National Council of Social Studies, and the International Reading Association. He has spoken at The Kennedy Center, Fordham University and on National Public Radio. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
