Gurwinder Singh Mann, born on August 1st, 1997, in Mansa District of Punjab, India. After finishing his secondary education from D.A.V. school, Mansa, he went to Vancouver, Canada for further studies. He got into writing in grade 7 when some of his classmates wrote few poems. He sat down with his maternal aunt Surjit Kaur and wrote his first poem ‘Punjab’. He also won the award of ‘The Best Poet of District’ in 2012 for his poetry. He always had love and passion for his mother-tongue, Punjabi. Nowadays, he lives in United States and writes in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Most of his work revolves around romantic poetry along with cultural and motivational poems.
