Pranav Sharma (22.08.90 to 27.02.17) was a hearty, lively, compassionate person and most importantly a buddy to all.
He was a brilliant product of St. John's High School, Chandigarh, India. He pursued his MBA from IMT Nagpur, India. He was an avid reader and a music enthusiast. The author was very studious and well composed, with a pious heart.
While pursuing MBA in 2013, he was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma of the femur bone (a rare type of bone cancer), but never lost hope and courage. He went through rigorous treatment, which included sixteen cycles of chemotherapy, radiation and limb salvage surgery. After recovering, he stood firm and completed his MBA and got placed in Bajaj Allianz Ltd., Pune, India.
But on October 7, 2016, he was again detected with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) a rare and acute type of blood cancer. It was a major setback to him as well as his parents, Mr. Pravin Sharma and Mrs. Sulekha Sharma.
An angel disguised as a loving son, a true friend and a great guide, found refuge in poetry. His love, aspirations and fears culminated in the form of poetry. We are so grateful to his parents who worked so hard to get this book published posthumously.
Profits from this book will be donated towards research on cancer.
