About this eBook

Human resources management should be considered as a part of business strategy. HR should aid the operation and line managers for better utilization of people, processes, and systems.

The world of work is changing at breakneck speed, and this book is your roadmap to navigating the new terrain. The author delves into the rise of artificial intelligence, the importance of organizational agility, and the need for a workforce fueled by resilience, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Employers believe HR to be like "achar," (pickle) preserved but not exactly thriving. They don’t understand that there is something beyond administrative work in management. They don’t believe in strategic planning either; While many HR managers struggle to gain the credibility needed to establish strategic roles within their companies, the author has successfully implemented strategic HR initiatives across diverse commercial enterprises through his travels. It was mainly because of his networking, honesty, and forthrightness.

The cases exemplify the importance of strategic workforce planning, HR foresight, and collaboration with line managers. By leveraging HR expertise and acting proactively, we can address future challenges effectively, minimize risks, and ultimately contribute to the organization's success.

In this new advanced world where the competition is at its peak , this book offers a very clear understanding of the HR role and how a person can improve his qualities to become an HR that companies need. Many employees complain about their manager or HR that they give more pressure and don't approve their leave and pressure for work . But we often forget that they are only doing theirs and it's required for them to look after everyone's work progress and report to senior officers. And this only increases their work stress as well. Reading this book , made me realise the actual role and HR plays in any organisation and how difficult it is to follow this position. It is a must-read for HR professionals and business leaders alike. The author's way of explaining is both thought-provoking and practical, making the book a valuable resource for anyone looking to enhance their HR practices and drive organizational success.
