About this eBook

In a world divided between good and evil, what happens when you're both?

Nathan Byrn is the illegitimate son of the world's most dangerous witch.

Kept in a cage by the Council of Fairborn witches, who believe he is destined to follow the same destructive path as his father, Nathan must find a way to unlock his full powers before his seventeenth birthday, or face madness and death.

His one hope lies with the sinister Blood witch Mercury. But Mercury's help always comes at a price - one Nathan may not be able to pay . . .

Now a major new Netflix series entitled The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself.

'Highly entertaining and dangerously addictive' - TIME

Felt so sorry for Nathan. The book was too short for me personally, and did not enjoy the cliffhanger ending. It just felt like it ended at the middle of the story. :( But was a great read. I couldn't stop after I started. My heart was chilled and haunted for days after.

I really enjoyed this! At first I found the writing style unusual but after reading over half of the book in one night I realised I'd gotten fond of it fairly quickly. The world of Half Bad was easy to get swept away into which is a mark of a great story. Looking forward to the next part and would certainly recommend to fans of the fantasy genre.

A bit different from the usual stuff out there better written than twilight thank goodness. Still nothing really that new or ground breaking here and certainly not in the same league as hunger games but still OK value for £3
