I liked this story. I appreciated how Farah showed her emotions more in this story than in the first. She was more stubborn and tried to force herself to be away from Everette even though she loved being around him because she knew in the end he would be the one to bring her death. The reader could easily tell that both characters are conflicted on their feelings and how they are acting in an unusual way in the circumstances they were in. The story was steamy in places but showcases the emotions of the characters more and introduces an incident that could be a problem in the future. I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens. I received a free review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
