Becky and her friends go out to a speakeasy one night and briefly talk to Violet. They notice bruising on her face and then her boyfriend comes and takes her away. She had diamonds on her neck an wrist that would make any girl envious. The next morning they hear she has been murdered. Everyone assumes it is her boyfriend Leonard. Violet is sending messages from beyond the grave. This is a fast moving, hard to put down, good read!

A really interesting look back in time. Becky is still spending a lot of time in the local speakeasies, and getting into trouble ha. This time though, she really does put herself into some pretty dangerous situations. Such an interesting story.. with Violet's ghost hanging around, and taking over her cousins body to share some important information. Loved the book!
