About this eBook

Frostfall Island is getting ready for a big harvest moon celebration! Dozens of boats have arrived in Bayberry Harbor, and the island is buzzing with activity. Anna is looking forward to the delicious food and dancing. Her sister, Cora, is looking forward to meeting all the yacht owners, especially the single ones. Anna’s plan for a fun weekend is thrown into turmoil when the current owner of her late husband’s fishing boat shows up at the boarding house. He hands her a photo that he found in the wheelhouse. It’s a photo that stirs up far more worrisome questions than it does fond memories.

The weekend is further disrupted when one of the yacht owners dies in a deadly fire. As usual, Detective Norwich jumps to the conclusion that the death is an accident, but Anna finds evidence that points to murder. Looking for a killer is always a nice distraction when your life has taken a bittersweet turn.

Finished Harvest Moon Misfortune. Sooooo good. I really enjoyed the various yachts, the discriptions were wonderful. I could picture them very well in my mind. Some of them sounded just beautiful. I'm very curious about the picture found in Michael's boat. It's adding an awesome new mystery to his disappearance. Don't want to say too much in a review as I don't like to have spoilers in my review but I wonder, did he really disappear or did he just leave for other reasons. And the murders were so well done. It seemed like Anna had it all figured out, and then she didn't. But in the end she found the real murderer and got a confession out of them. And I'm do glad Cora decided to stay. I like her. Nate and Anna are moving right along with their relationship. If only she would stop worrying that he'll go back to the mainland. He's settled in quite well, has a job he loves, has made good friends and still gets to investigate murders with Anna. Great job London, as always.

Another lovely installment of the Frost Fall Island Mystery series. It feels like returning to a second home every time I read it. Highly recommend this series and this latest book is just as good. The mystery had me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait for the next one!
