Anthony Poulton-Smith is a writer and local historian, with more than 350 articles to his credit. His other books include Black Country Ghosts, Ley Lines Across the Midlands, Leicestershire and Rutland Place Names, Derbyshire Place Names, and Worcestershire Place Names.
