Health and Development presents a broad and detailed description of the multifaceted aspects of health and development across the globe. Recession in the North and debt servicing in the South have reduced public expenditure on health and welfare. Sobre o autor
David R. Phillips is Director of the Institute of Population Studies and Reader in Health Studies at the University of Exeter, and Chair of the International Geographical Union Commission on Health, Environment and Development. Yola Verhasselt is Professor of Geography at the Free University, Brussels, and was Chair of the International Geographical Union Commission on Health and Development.
