It could be the perfect summer holiday. Lynn, Marie and Lia have resolved to lie lazily in the sun on the shores of Lake Stechlin every day and do nothing. If only Lynn didn't have nightmares. Night after night, ghostly figures warn of the horror in the depths of the lake and ask the girl for help. When a horse-like monster appears on the shore, Lynn's friends disappear without a trace. Their nightmares seem to come true ...
As if that wasn't enough, the mysterious Daja also upsets Lynn's emotional life, while the search for a blue heart made of crystal brings her closer to mortal danger, but also to an ancient secret.

Over de auteur

Juliane Seidel was born in Suhl/Thuringia in 1983 and has lived in Wiesbaden for several years. In addition to her work as a team assistant, she puts a lot of time and heart and soul into various queer projects (e.g. the review blog "Like a Dream", the reading festival "QUEER gelesen") and has been writing fantastic children's and youth books for over ten years. Meanwhile, in addition to the first volumes of the children's book series "Assjah" and the self-published urban fantasy series "Nachtschatten", she also has her first publications in the queer field to her credit, including the two benefit anthologies "Like a Dream" and "Like a (bad) Dream", which she edited. Her urban fantasy young adult book "Heart of Crystal" also focuses on queer heroines.
