Growing up in New Zealand’s North Island, Heather enjoyed an idyllic childhood on the family sheep and cattle farm, dreaming of becoming a writer. Marriage and a home in rural Queensland, Australia provided years of love and knowledge of farming life while an assortment of animals and characters provided inspiration.
