About the author

Martine Leavitt's young-adult novels have won many awards and honors in the United States and Canada. My Book of Life by Angel won the Canadian Library Association Young Adult Book Award and was selected as a Booklist Best Book of the Year in 2013. Keturah and Lord Death was a finalist for the National Book Award and was selected as a Booklist Editors' Choice in 2006. Martine Leavitt earned an MFA in writing for children from Vermont College.
