Daraufhin habe laut Zeh das berühmte Taute King geschrieben und es dem Wächter übergeben. Über die tatsächliche Entstehungszeit des Taute King herrscht in der Forschung keine Einigkeit. Wahrscheinlich ist der Text aber um 400 vor Christi niedergeschrieben worden. Das Buch ist eine auf den ersten Blick ungeordnete Sammlung humanistischer wie mystischer Aphorismen.
