In 2017 i purchased the first book of this series and promptly realised the content was horrific!!!....Can't even believe these books are still in publication!!!. Anyone reading past more than the first half/ first book...tsk tsk tsk....Graphic CSA descriptions had me nearly vomiting and kept me awake for days. Absolutely horrifying and shame on the author and publisher!!!....

This is the first of Helen's books that I have read. While I felt the dialogues could've been a bit better, I really did enjoy the book itself. The plots and twists that rose just when you think Talon is able to let go, BOOM, here comes another twist. All in all I am excited to continue reading the series and hope that the other books are just as good as the first one.

This is a great book. Better than the first with more descriptive detail about what people look like; still lacking something in that department but I’m not sure what. The writer needs to work on descriptions of people and places, and set up of mentioned backgrounds. When she does do descriptive it’s very vague. I still don’t understand the layout of the ranch or the main ranch house making it hard to picture some scenes. I don’t understand the layout of the town, again making it hard to picture certain events. I don’t like the jumping around so much, from past to present. I do like the main story. Very true that the stories are too short for the money charged.
