Helen Stephens did not let a little thing like her school’s lack of girl’s sports and coaches stop her from matching the world record for the 50-yard dash when she was only fifteen. At the Olympics, she was only allowed to enter three events because she was a woman, but that didn’t stop her from winning two gold medals. 作者简介
Jason Offutt has an MA in communication and is a journalism instructor at Northwest Missouri State University. In addition to working as a newspaper reporter, sports photographer, editor, managing editor, and columnist, he has written numerous articles and several books on humor and regional folklore, focusing on stories of the paranormal.
John Hare is an illustrator, graphic designer and artist. He lives in Gladstone, Missouri.
