Developed over the course of two plus years, 'CONGO - A Forgotten World' is the first volume of a saga revealing legends and myths reported by explorers from various countries based on true events, blurring the fine line between reality and fantasy.
Henrique Gandum, born in 1996 in Seixal, Portugal, spent a lot of his time drawing since a very young age. He developed lots of little stories and after finishing his course based off drawing and animation, he finally fulfills his dream of releasing a comic book.
"CONGO - A Forgotten World" is the first out of three volumes and tells us the story of a group of Portuguese explorers in the Congo region in 1880. Things start to go wrong as they witness the famous primitive African legends, that were actually reported by explorers who got lost in the deep jungle and fearsome swamps from Central Africa.
