This biography introduces young readers to the life of Englishman Henry Hudson. Readers learn that Hudson's grandfather helped form the Muscovy Company and that Hudson himself later sailed for the Muscovy Company, trying to find a passage to Asia through the North Pole. Hudson's family life and work as a cabin boy are also discussed, as well as his voyage with John Davis to the Canadian Arctic.
