An avalanche of a pathway! Marjorie became a caretaker when she lost her true love; taking care and taking charge. Nick made it his duty to offer his resort guests a good time. Both survived the loss of their mates. When they met there weren't smiles and fireworks, but an "Oh, no!" The story gets more emotional from there. Enjoyed the story. The personal, impassioned struggles both had to deal with were heartfelt and real. Appreciate this second chance, older characters romance. 3 1/2 stars. Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.

This is a second chance romance. Marjorie and Nick Both lost the mates 30 years ago and neither one wants a second true mate but as you know you don’t always get what you want. The journey between Marjorie and Nick is sweet funny but still has enough drama in it to make it a page turner. So if you like were-bear romance than I highly recommend this book. Strong plot with depth to it and likable characters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
