About this eBook

Newly promoted, Detective Sergeant William Warwick has been reassigned to the drugs squad. His first case: to investigate a notorious south London drug lord known as the Viper.

But as William and his team close the net around a criminal network unlike any they have ever encountered, he is also faced with an old enemy, Miles Faulkner. It will take all of William’s cunning to devise a means to bring both men to justice, a trap neither will expect, one that is hidden in plain sight . . .

Filled with Jeffrey Archer’s trademark twists and turns, Hidden in Plain Sight is the gripping next instalment in the life of William Warwick. It follows on from Nothing Ventured, but can be read as a standalone story.

Another cracking read - and series - from an author who rightly deserves the title of 'master storyteller'! Newly promoted to detective sergeant, William Warwick finds himself attached to a new unit targeting those at the top of the drug supply chain; those who distribute to the smaller links who do the street deals. As he and others pursue the criminal known only to them as the 'Viper', an old adversary also pops up in his sights and William has to double his focus. The only way to be successful is to do so in clear view so as not to arouse suspicions; in other words, Hidden in Plain Sight. I haven't got around to reading the first in this series yet, but as they are stand-alone books I will endeavour to catch up at a later date and I couldn't resist getting my teeth into this one! Having read every one of this author's works in the past, I know how smart and clever his stories are; William Warwick was mentioned in the Clifton Chronicles so I was eager to investigate. What a cracking read! No less than I expected - well crafted with wonderful characters and a creative story line which kept me riveted, I have been totally enthralled. Then the ending! As soon as book three is available, I shall be grabbing it, that's for certain. A totally terrific thriller which deserves so much more than the five sparkling stars I can give it. If you haven't read this author's novels, please do - you will not be disappointed.
