作者简介

Prof. Rotimi Sadiku, currently a Professor at the Department of Chemical, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, earned his BSc. [Hons] and a PhD from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, specializing in Polymer Physics with a focus on Polymer Processing, X-ray Diffraction, Thermal Characteristics, Rheology, and Microscopy of Polymers techniques. His academic journey includes a role as a Lecturer II at the Federal University of Technology in Nigeria, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Genova/CNR, Italy. Upon returning to Nigeria, he continued his career by joining the Federal University of Technology, where he served as a Senior Lecturer. He also spent a year as a Research Fellow at the KTH Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. In January 2004, he assumed his current position as a Research Professor at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), South Africa.

Dr. Ibrahim holds a dual doctoral degree from Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa, and Université Paris-Saclay in France. His primary research focus lies in the fields of fibers, polymers, and nanoparticles, aimed at crafting environmentally sustainable and high-strength nanocomposites. Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim has presented his research findings at twelve international conferences and is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the South African Institution for Mechanical Engineering (SAIMechE), International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), Institute of Public Management (IPM), and Onshore Offshore Oil and Gas Professionals (O3GP).

Prof. Kupolati holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and he obtained both a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. degree in Construction Management from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He joined the lecturing staff of the Department of Civil Engineering after accumulating thirteen years of professional experience working in various significant areas of civil engineering practice. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. Prof. Kupolati's research focuses on utilizing waste, pozzolans, nanomaterials, and smart materials for Civil Engineering applications. This research extends to various aspects, including asphalt, concrete, rail systems, and building construction, with a particular emphasis on promoting green infrastructure.

Dr. Chinenyeze is a Fulbright research scholar, currently with the Department of Forest Biomaterials, North Carolina State University, USA. He is a member of notable professional bodies including Royal Society of Chemistry, Polymer Institute of Nigeria, Chemical Society of Nigeria, South Africa Chemical Institute. His areas of research include fibers isolation, characterization and recycling, polymers, nanotechnology, composites, and renewable energy.
