Once this story gets rolling, it really doesn’t stop for anything until the end. The first part of this book goes to some very dark places and should probably come with a trigger warning. I know I found it very difficult to get enough emotional distance from the story to get to the “5 years later”. I came very close to setting the book aside and not finishing it. But once we were able to jump ahead in time, I absolutely couldn’t put it down. Now, I’m a little desperate to find out what’s really going on and learn if Fiona gets her man… and the killer. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Wow!!! This author has done it again for me! I'm already hooked and can't wait to read the next book. Love how well fleshed out the characters are and the banter that is happening already. The plot and story line were extremely well written and so many different twists and things to come. Fast paced and love the world building. Recommend reading highly!! I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest voluntary review.

Hated that this was NOT a stand alone book. No conclusion, left hanging. Story line was a hugely unbeleivable stretch and did not get better.
