Himmelsthor 3.0 ist ein Querschnitt durch Manegolds gesammeltes lyrisches Schaffen, eine Werkschau mit Gedichten, die zwischen 1984 und 2015 entstanden sind. Diese wurden größtenteils in den mittlerweile ausverkauften Lyrikbänden „Sonnentod“ (1999), „Himmelsthor“ (2006/2010) und „Rattenfänger“ (2008) veröffentlicht. Weil diese Bücher auf Wunsch des Autors nicht neu aufgelegt werden, wurden die Gedichte zu diesem E-Book zusammengefasst. Die Gedichte sind für die Veröffentlichung in digitaler Form noch einmal durchgesehen worden. Außerdem sind ein paar neue Verse hinzugekommen, wie beispielsweise „Gilgamesh“ oder „Biber“ aus dem Episodenroman „Gespräche mit Goth“.
