About the author

Dr. Hiren Kumar Deva Sarma is currently a Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, India. He received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Assam Engineering College (University of Gauhati) in 1998, his M.Tech in Information Technology from Tezpur University in 2000, and his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University (Department of Computer Science and Engineering) in 2013. He has received the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in the XVIII General Assembly 2005, held at New Delhi, India. He has published more than seventy research papers in various international journals and leading refereed international and national conferences. His current research interests are wireless sensor networks, mobility management in IPv6-based networks, cognitive radio networks, network security, robotics, distributed computing, and big data analytics.

Dr. Bhaskar Bhuyan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, India. He received his B.E. (1997) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, in Computer Science & Engineering, and his M.Tech. (2000) and Ph.D. (2017) from Tezpur University, Assam, India. His research interests include computer networks and distributed systems, and he has published a number of papers in these areas.

Dr. Samarjeet Borah is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Sikkim, India. Dr. Borah is involved in various academic, research, and academic administrative activities, as well as curriculum development activities, and is a member of the board of studies, doctoral research committee, and IT infrastructure management at SMIT. Dr. Borah is Principal Investigator/Co-Principal Investigator for three projects sponsored by AICTE (Government of India), DST-CSRI (Government of India), and Dr. TMA Pai Endowment Fund. He is associated with IEEE, ACM (CSTA), IAENG, and IACSIT and has organized various national and international conferences at SMIT, such as an ISRO-sponsored training programme on Remote Sensing & GIS, NCWBCB 2014, NER-WNLP 2014, IC3-2016, ICACCP 2017, and IC3-2018. Dr. Borah is an editor/guest editor for various journals, like IJSE, IJHISI, IJGHPC, IJIM, IJVCSN, JISys, and IJIPT.

Dr. Nitul Dutta is currently a Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat. He received his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College, Assam (1995), and M.Tech. in Information Technology from Tezpur University, Assam (2002). He received his Ph.D. (area of study: mobile IPv6) from Jadavpur University (2012). He has published more than thirty research papers in various leading journals and conferences. His research interests are mobile IPv6, cognitive radio networks, and distributed computing.
